EXECUTIVE FUNCTIONING COACHING FOR TEENS & TWEENS · PARKER, CO OR VIRTUAL

Executive Functioning & ADHD Coaching for Teens

Your kid is smart — so why can’t they just do it? They understand the assignment. They mean to do it. Sometimes they even start strong. And then… nothing gets turned in, and you’re the one lying awake. That’s not laziness, and it’s not a character flaw — it’s a gap between knowing and doing, and I have a method for it. I specialize in bright, neurodiverse teens — including those with ADHD.

Peace Comes First

WHAT EXECUTIVE FUNCTIONING COACHING CHANGES

Parents don’t come to me for better grades. They come for relief — mornings that don’t start with a battle, homework that happens easily, and the quiet confidence that their teen is going to be okay. Better focus, follow-through, and independence come first. Grades follow.

Coaching, Not Tutoring

A tutor re-teaches one subject. Executive function coaching builds the systems that get every subject done — planning, organization, time management, task initiation, focus, and follow-through — and then hands those systems to your teen so you’re no longer the daily reminder. That’s the difference between a better grade this week and a teen who runs their own week for good.

WHY PARENTS TRUST ME

A Coach for Everybody

I’ve spent 25+ years in classrooms and 15+ years coaching teens and families. I hold a master’s in special education, National Board Certification as an Exceptional Needs Specialist, and ADHD coaching certification as well as a BA in secondary education and English. So neurodivergent teens aren’t a subgroup I accommodate, they’re who I’m trained for. And, as someone who also worked with and trained for neurotypical teens and tweens, I’ve seen what works, and what doesn’t, across hundreds of situations. My superpower is in how I am able to listen to what’s possible and find the strategies that matches with what every individual needs.

Everyone I work with moves through the KEY Method

This is an outline of The KEY Method — the spine of everything from a single session to six months of VIP coaching. It’s not a worksheet. It’s a path.

Executive function coaching in Parker, CO & Online

I coach teens and tweens (ages 11–17) one-on-one, in person in Parker and across the south Denver metro — Castle Rock, Lone Tree, Highlands Ranch, Aurora — and virtually anywhere in Colorado and beyond. This is coaching, not tutoring: we don’t re-teach the algebra, we build the systems that get the algebra done.
