1. Program Description

The 14 Day Homework Reset (“the Course”) is an educational and coaching-based program designed to support teens and parents in building homework management skills. The Course includes video lessons, activities, reflections, and a workbook. Content is educational in nature and not a substitute for therapy, counseling, or medical care.

2. Intended Participants

This Course is designed to be completed by a teen and a parent/guardian.
By enrolling, the parent or legal guardian confirms that:

  • They have the legal authority to enroll the teen

  • They agree to participate in course activities alongside the teen as recommended

3. Not Medical or Mental Health Treatment

The Course is not therapy, counseling, psychological treatment, or medical advice.

  • No diagnosis is made through this program

  • Participation does not establish a therapist-client or medical relationship

  • If your teen is experiencing significant mental health concerns, you agree to seek support from a licensed professional

4. Personal Responsibility

By enrolling in this Course, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Results vary based on participation, effort, and consistency

  • You are responsible for how you apply the strategies and information

  • The Course provides tools and guidance, but outcomes are not guaranteed

Progress depends on practice, follow-through, and individual circumstances.

5. Linear Course Structure

This Course is designed to be completed in order, starting with Week 1, Day 1.

  • Skipping ahead or completing lessons out of order may reduce effectiveness

  • Alternate pacing calendars are provided for flexibility, but the sequence of lessons should remain the same

6. Workbook Use

The Course includes a workbook provided for personal use only.

  • The workbook may not be shared, copied, reproduced, resold, or distributed

  • Digital and printed versions are for the enrolled family’s use only

7. Intellectual Property

All Course materials—including videos, worksheets, workbook content, language, frameworks, and the KEY Method—are the intellectual property of Key Coaching / Colleen Yanez.

You may not:

  • Copy, share, sell, or distribute materials

  • Record or reproduce course content

  • Use course materials for training, teaching, or commercial purposes without written permission

8. Refund Policy

We want you to feel confident enrolling in the 14 Day Homework Reset.

You may request a full refund within 30 days of purchase if you decide the Course is not the right fit for your family.

To request a refund:

  • Email contact@thekeycoach.org within 30 days of your purchase date

  • Include the name and email address used to enroll

Refunds will be issued to the original method of payment.

Please note:

  • Refund requests made after 30 days will not be honored

  • Refunds are not contingent on course completion or results

  • Access to the Course and companion workbook will be revoked upon refund

This refund policy exists to support thoughtful participation—not to replace engagement. We encourage families to begin the course and give the process time to work.

9. Community & Communication Guidelines

If your Course includes discussion spaces, comments, or optional community components, participants agree to:

  • Communicate respectfully

  • Avoid shaming, blaming, or personal attacks

  • Maintain confidentiality of others’ shared experiences

Key Coaching reserves the right to remove participants from community spaces if guidelines are violated.

10. Optional Coaching Opportunities

Any optional coaching, group sessions, or additional support offerings are:

  • Separate from the core Course unless explicitly stated

  • Subject to additional terms, scheduling availability, and fees

11. Technology & Access

Participants are responsible for:

  • Reliable internet access

  • Compatible devices

  • Downloading and saving materials as needed

Key Coaching is not responsible for technical issues outside the Course platform.

12. Limitation of Liability

By enrolling, you agree that Key Coaching and its representatives are not liable for:

  • Decisions made based on course content

  • Outcomes related to academic performance, relationships, or behavior

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

13. Updates & Modifications

Course content may be updated, expanded, or refined over time to improve clarity or effectiveness. Access to updates is provided at the discretion of Key Coaching.

14. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the state in which Key Coaching operates, Colorado.
